Oberá, green and red from all points of view, has a variety of rides to visit in the heart of the city itself. One is the Bird Garden where over 200 specimens of birds, 70 species distributed, are in an area of exorbitant nature to be admired up close. The Bird Garden is the result of a dream come true. Frida Wendlinger, founder of the property, was commissioned to raise a child, heal and feed native birds as a hobby in the background home. Over the years this work was to public attention and a great responsibility. So Frida’s garden became an undisputed benchmark Oberá when birding site.

The large number of birds that were reproduced Frida forces to donate birds with such dedication had cared and was the municipality, under the supervision of Frida, which was responsible for cobijarlas in an area. Currently, the Bird Garden is in a convenient place, full of “bright” Oberá vegetation and spacious cages where birds develop their life peacefully. Giant toucans, peacocks, gold finches, pheasants, owls, blue jays, Australian parrots, macaws, redfish and Cardinals are among the most prominent local birds.

Walking inside, acute birdsong takes over the silence. Saltarines colors between the bars seem sad guess the arrival of visitors and everything is translated into fascination. A few blocks from downtown is located on Avenida Italia and Bolivia street.
