The Park of Nations is an area of approximately 10 hectares and has the distinction of being the permanent headquarters of the Immigrant’s Festival that takes place every year during the month of September. The park is located a few kilometers from the city center, demarcated by the street Ukraine, National Route 14 and Avenida Andresito. In it are stationed typical of each of the communities 14 houses and the Historical Museum and Municipal Natural Science and the headquarters of the Federation of Communities, organizing body of the party.

In Oberá have coincided, as in few other places in Argentina, immigrants of many nationalities and ethnicities. This diversity brought an extraordinary cultural enrichment and exemplary coexistence. Following the tour that presents the internal road, we reached the Municipal Historic Museum and Natural Sciences to know the objects displayed therein. The museum has three rooms. Another room has traditional dress costumes and some who were elected in the famous Queens Immigrant’s Festival. In the same room, photos, vintage clothing and other items reminiscent of various historical facts of importance, such as the slaughter of Oberá, as it was known to the agrarian protest of 1936; or unusual snowfall that occurred in August 1965.

In the hall of Natural Sciences can learn about the rich fauna through various stuffed animals, among which the presence of an alligator, a colorful parrot and yarará long, which, if you look too much , to give a little scary. Leaving the museum, or entering, what strikes the eye is the countless tiles and ceramics, whose motto Immigrant’s Festival, the city of Oberá or other characteristic of the province of Misiones themes.
