The FAYD Museum is the result of a long journey made by teachers, graduates, students and non-teachers with the idea of achieving a space to show the heritage of the University of Art and Design, and in turn, through the showroom , open the doors to international artists, national and young emerging from our medium to exhibit their works.
It seeks to have a distinctive role, marked by the accessibility to art in the context of the community it serves.
It is about providing a space in favorable conditions for teachers, graduates, collectives and entities that promote art in order to help them in the dissemination of their artistic specialty, within the field of visual and / or plastic arts, design objects and industrial products.
The realization of this project was possible thanks to the support of the Vice-Government, from where the funds for the construction of the building were processed.
In turn, by the Ministry of Ecology and Renewable Resources has been ceded the Lapacho wood seized that was used for the floors and wall cladding.
The FAYD Museum is located in Oberá on Calle Carhué 832. For those interested, visit their fanpage https://www.facebook.com/museoFAyD/ to see schedules and exhibitions or contact the mail museo@fayd.unam.edu.ar.
